Steady Games is an independent mobile game studio based in Houston, Texas. We make short, satisfying games that respect your time — and we hold ourselves to six principles every title has to pass before it ships.
Why this studio
Most mobile games stopped respecting the player.
Somewhere along the way, mobile games started measuring success in retention curves and lifetime value — not in whether players actually enjoyed playing. The result is a category full of games engineered to manipulate: rigged randomness designed to bait purchases, fake timers, ad walls, streak-shame notifications, dark patterns at every checkout.
Steady Games is built around the opposite idea. Our games are short, fair, and quiet. We don't engineer frustration to sell relief from it. We don't hide what the price is. We don't collect data we don't need. When we make something, we'd rather it fit in the five minutes between everything else in your day — and then let you go.
It's a slower way to build, and probably a smaller one. We think it's worth it.
