The promise behind “no traps”

Six principles
every game has to pass.

These aren't marketing copy. They're design constraints — checked before any game leaves the studio, and re-checked every time we update one. If a game can't pass all six, it doesn't ship.

  1. 01

    No manipulated RNG

If a game says it's random, it's actually random.

A lot of mobile puzzle games rig their randomness — withholding pieces you need, or feeding you wins to bait a purchase. We don't. Bloxify's piece order is uniform and unweighted. We can prove it. When the game asks you to think, the difficulty is honest.

  2. 02

    No rage-bait

We won't engineer frustration to sell you a fix.

We design for the satisfying loop, not the engagement metric. No fake-loss screens, no almost-wins designed to provoke another swipe, no difficulty walls timed to your patience running out. If you stop playing, that's a fine outcome.

  3. 03

    Ads are optional

Only rewarded ads, and only if you choose to watch one.

We don't interrupt your run with a forced video. We don't show banners that stalk your finger. The only ads in our games are ones you tap because you actually want what's on the other side — usually a free continue, a bonus, or a hint.

  4. 04

    No dark patterns

We won't trick you into spending money.

No fake countdown timers on store offers. No pre-checked subscription boxes. No sleazy 'one-time offer!' upsells that aren't one-time. If we ask for money, the ask is clear and the price is the price.

  5. 05

    Respect your time

    Sessions are short by design.

Our games are built to fit the five minutes between everything else in your day — and then to let you go. No daily-login traps. No streak-shame. No anxious push notifications. Come back when you want to.

  6. 06

    Private by default

We don't sell your data. We barely collect any.

We collect what we need to make the leaderboards work and the game run. We don't track you across apps. We don't sell your data to ad networks. The privacy policy is short because there isn't much to disclose.

The proof

Bloxify is our first game built to all six.
